The Fiddle Shop was turned into a film studio on Wednesday, July 19. Oklahoma will be celebrating it’s centennial year in 2007, and Jimmy Webb and Vince Gill were commissioned to write a theme song.
It was planned that various artists and groups around the state would record the song for airplay as promotion for all the festivities. The Byron Berline Band was honored to be selected and were the first to be filmed and recorded. It was quite a day!
The crew began transforming the shop at 8:00am, we broke for lunch, then began filming at 1pm. By 5:30p everyone was gone and we wondered what had hit us. But it was a lot of fun; look and listen for us on your radio and TV.
