Wyoming Trip
The Byron Berline Band just returned from a wonderful trip to Wyoming. We played in Gillette for their downtown appreciation and BBQ day. Our friend Bret Jones, who now lives in Gillette, set this up and everything went really well. There was very little humidity up there and our instruments didn't know what to think for sometime until they became adjusted. It sure felt good to play outside and not perspire heavily. Barry "Bones" Patton again stole the show and it seemed like everyone had a really good time.

The next two days were spent playing at a little town called Buffalo, Wy. This is where the Big Horn Music Festival is held. This was their 4th festival and very well organized I thought. The audience was very receptive to our music and again Barry was the show stealer. We all had fun doing our workshops and meeting the different folks from that area.

From there Bette and I toured around South Dakota going to Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, The Bad Lands, and Sioux Falls where we visited our friends the Stoops. Our last sight seeing adventure was at Vermillion, S.D. where the wonderful National Musical Museum is located. All in all it was a very nice trip and I would recommend going to that part of the country if you ever get a chance.
